FERRARI Factory driver Alessio Rovera headlines a strong Arise Racing GT Pro-Am class entry locked in for the upcoming Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour.

The 29-year-old Italian will join regular Arise Racing GT pilots Jaxon Evans and Elliott Schutte in the squad’s second entry for Australia’s International Enduro, the quartet to be completed by experienced GT World Challenge Australia ace Brad Schumacher.

It completes a strong two-car team from the Perth-based Ferrari team, the Pro-Am entry to compete alongside the Pro class car to be driven by Chaz Mostert, Will Brown and Daniel Serra.

Schumacher paired with Will Brown to finish second in GTWC Australia last season following a year long battle with both of the Arise-entered Ferrari’s.

Evans and Schutte combined to win the eighth race of the 2024 season to claim third in the championship, a notable performance given it also represented Schutte’s first year in top-flight GT machinery.

The West Aussie graduated from one-make Radical competition into the heat of GT racing last season, having worked through the ranks in a career kicked off by winning a driver search competition backed by Arise Racing’s Radical Cup team in Perth.

Rovera, driving for AF Corse, secured the LMP2 Pro-Am drivers' championship in the 2024 European Le Mans Series. Additionally, he finished third in the GT3 drivers' championship of the FIA WEC, piloting a Vista - AF Corse Ferrari 296 LMGT3, and taking out the win in the final race held in Bahrain.

Queensland-based Kiwi Evans, a full-time pilot for Brad Jones Racing in the Repco Supercars Championship, is a Bathurst 12 Hour veteran and will make his fourth start in the race this year having claimed fourth outright in 2024.

Bathurst-based Schumacher, who lives within sight of Mount Panorama, will make his sixth Bathurst 12 Hour start this year and his first aboard a Ferrari.

Schumacher made his debut in a GT4 Ginetta in 2019 before stepping into a MARC II entry the following year. He graduated into GT3 machinery in 2022, the local ace claiming fourth outright aboard an Audi R8 as a factory driver. He also claimed the GT Am class in GT World Challenge Australia in 2023 and last year made his debut in the famous 24 Hours of Spa enduro.

The 2025 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour will be contested across January 31 – February 2 with tickets, camping and corporate experiences on sale now via the official event website,

BROWN, MOSTERT TO JOIN FORCES FOR BATHURST 12 HOUR CAMPAIGN

CURRENT Repco Supercars Champion Will Brown will join forces with current Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Champion Chaz Mostert and Factory Ferrari ace Daniel Serra at the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour next year.

The powerhouse combination anchors the Pro class Ferrari 296 GT3 entry from Arise Racing GT in Australia’s International Enduro, to be held next January 31-February 2.

Brown and Mostert competed against each other for title success in two of Australia’s premier categories in 2024.

The duo finished first and third, respectively in the Repco Supercars Championship this year – Brown claiming his maiden title aboard a Triple Eight Racing Camaro, while Mostert finished third and first Ford Mustang home while driving for Walkinshaw Andretti United.

Their positions were reversed in GT World Challenge Australia: Mostert pairing with Liam Talbot to win the title for Arise Racing GT while Brown shared an Audi R8 with Brad Schumacher to finish second.

The trio is completed by the 40-year-old Brazilian Serra, who is a factory Ferrari driver.

A three-time Brazilian Stock Car champion, Serra raced for Conquest Racing and Risi Competizione in the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship, where he won two races in the 2024 season – including the 24 Hours of Daytona.

A two-time class winner at Le Mans, and IMSA Endurance Cup Champion in 2022, Serra also finished second in the LMGT3 class of the European LeMans Series in 2024 driving for Kessel Racing. He’s no stranger to Bathurst, either, having been entered in the 2020 race with HubAuto.

Arise Racing GT will field a pair of Ferrari 296 GT3 entries in the 2025 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, with the drivers for the team’s Pro-Am entry to be confirmed in due course.

THE PRANCING HORSE is coming back to Mount Panorama.

Arise Racing GT has confirmed the official entry of their pair of Ferrari 296 GT3 cars in 2025 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, returning the brand to Australia’s longest race for the first time since 2020.


The West Australian-based team will enter one car in each of the Pro and Pro-Am classes in the January 31-February 2 event, marking both the team’s 12-hour debut and the debut of the latest and greatest Ferrari GT3 contender in the race.

Arise Racing GT launched into the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia scene in style this year, Liam Talbot and Chaz Mostert claiming the Pro-Am title while the sister car driven by Elliot Schutte and Jaxon Evans finished third.

The team claimed three race victories and six pole positions in what was an incredible debut season - their first in the championship - with the impressive team performance and pace shown at Mount Panorama in particular a highlight ahead of their 12-hour debut.

ARGT will confirm their driving combinations and other key components of their maiden Bathurst 12 Hour campaign in due course.

The Ferrari 296 GT3 will be the fourth generation of Ferrari’s GT3 contenders to tackle Australia’s International Enduro, a race where Ferrari has claimed a pair of memorable victories.

Having featured on the grid in the first GT race in 2011, Ferrari’s first win came in 2014 via Maranello Motorsport’s Ferrari 458 GT3 and drivers, Craig Lowndes, John Bowe, Mika Salo and Peter Edwards.

A second outright win came three years later, in 2017, as Lowndes was joined by Jamie Whincup and Toni Vilander in a 488 GT3.

The last Ferrari to enter the Bathurst 12 hour was in 2020, with none having competed in the 2022, 23 and 24 editions of the race.

Based in Perth, Lance East Exotics launched the Arise Racing GT project in 2024, building on a rich legacy of success from fellow Perth-based team Arise Racing, renowned for their achievements in Sports Prototype Racing in the West and the Radical Cup Australia Series nationally.
